| Author Bio | Gordon Muir left Gordonstoun School at 16 to become an apprentice engineer on a whaling ship and then went on to study physics and mathematics at Aberdeen University. For the following thirty years he worked for Morgan Grenfell advising companies on their financial affairs. In a lucky break, he was asked to become Managing Director of the newly privatised railway company, Connex South Eastern, and later to be Director-General of the Association of Train Operating Companies. Since retiring he has created theatrical performances of the Putney Debates, the life and poems of Robert Burns and the life and songs of Bob Dylan. |
