Author Bio

William Matsuzaki has been a Japanese teacher for over 15 years. He received his BA in Japanese from Carlton College, an MSEd in Technology Education, and a doctorate in education from Johns Hopkins. Matsuzaki received the Elgin Heinz Outstanding Teacher Award in 2012 and has been the recipient of numerous teaching awards at his school (St. Paul's School in Brooklandville, Maryland), where he is also the modern language department chair. He is the author of several Tuttle titles, including Let's Learn Japanese and Japanese Hiragana and Katakana Language Practice Pad.
