MATTHEW WRIGHT is an award-winning New Zealand writer. His published material includes more than 60 books, including biographies and works on social and military history, along with more than 600 articles, academic papers and reviews. He has qualifications in music and anthropology among other fields and holds multiple post-graduate degrees in history. He is a fellow of the Royal Historical Society at University College, London.
