Description
Sir Graeme Dingle is one of New Zealand's most well-known adventurers, achieving over 200 mountaineering firsts worldwide, including first ascents in the Andes, Himalayas, Antarctica and New Zealand. But undoubtedly his greatest achievement is founding the Graeme Dingle Foundation (formerly the Project K Trust) with his wife Jo-anne Wilkinson CNZM, LLB, Lady Dingle. The organisation supports tens of thousands of young people in its programmes each year, empowering them to build resilience, overcome life's obstacles and thrive.
The Promise on One Tree Hill is Dingle's personal account of his intrepid life and adventures – from his early mountaineering achievements to his dedication to providing life-changing opportunities for young New Zealanders through his programmes Project K, Kiwi Can, Stars and Career Navigator – all told in his distinctive, no-nonsense style.
