Description
In 2012 when acclaimed artist Dick Frizzell moved into a brand-new, large, white studio he created a huge, 2.5m x 7.2m four-panel canvas, onto which he unloaded hoarded clippings, cartoons, postcards, copies and pieces of previous works. All is explained and then he zooms in on specific items arranged alphabetically with his own whimsical comments. The panels are now in the collection of the Christchurch City Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu. Gifted by the artist 2016.
